Answer

Software activation allows us to protect our software from piracy.

During activation, the software product creates a unique hardware identification that represents the configuration of the computer at the time of activation. The hardware identification is not unique, and it does not include any personal information, any information about software or data that may reside on your computer, or any information about the specific make or model of your computer. The hardware identification identifies only the computer and only for the sole purpose of activation. Most of the changes to your computer configuration will be tolerated by the activated product.

If you replace your computer, change your hardware, or if we release major upgrades you may be required to re-activate your product, you can do this by simply following the instructions displayed from within the software.
